Not only the planing of the Technical Building Services is becoming ever more important because of new legal framework conditions and ever-shorter innovation cycles. Sonically problematic is in doing so especially the inner-city densifictaion with the resulting short distances between noise sources of Technical Building Services and the nearest immission. Insofar the creation of ideally detailed calculation models gains in importance. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an innovative and modern method for integrated work in construction. Architects and engineers from various disciplines generate and coordinate large amounts of planning information in a networked and centralized fashion using a digital model. To date, however, acoustic characteristics are usually not part of a BIM model. The dispersion calculations have to be done with our discretion unchanged with a highly specialized computer program. Processing - especially during planning changes - can be accelerated overall if the sonically program is connected via a defined interface with the BIM platform. Via further interfaces, manufacturers for example of Technical Building Services systems could be directly involved.
